Fractional CRO
Senior growth leadership, without adding a full-time executive.
Independent hospitality businesses rarely lack ideas. The harder part is knowing where growth should come from, what deserves attention, and how the different pieces of the business should work together. Oak Street provides ongoing fractional revenue leadership to help ownership identify the opportunities that matter, make better commercial decisions, and move the right priorities forward.
WHAT A FRACTIONAL CRO DOES
Get close enough to the business to understand what actually moves it.
A Fractional CRO works alongside ownership to understand how the business performs, what guests value, where opportunities are being missed, and what may be holding growth back. That means getting into the details — the property, the guest experience, positioning, marketing, direct revenue, partnerships, sales opportunities, and the systems supporting them — while still looking at the business from a broader commercial perspective.
The goal is not to create more activity. It is to understand what can improve the bottom line, decide what deserves focus, and help turn those opportunities into action.
We look at where revenue comes from today, where stronger opportunities may exist, and what the business should prioritize next.
That can include demand patterns, direct booking performance, offers, guest segments, channel mix, ancillary revenue, partnerships, and other ways to improve the economics of the business.
We help clarify why the property is worth choosing, who is most likely to value it, and how that story should show up in market.
From there, we can help shape the marketing strategy, campaigns, website, messaging, offers, email, paid media, and other initiatives needed to create the right demand.
Growth problems are not always marketing problems. We look at how the guest experience, internal processes, systems, handoffs, and day-to-day operation support — or work against — the commercial goals of the business.
A strategy only works if the people involved can execute it. That may mean helping ownership clarify responsibilities, improving internal communication, training teams around messaging or commercial opportunities, strengthening follow-up, or helping outside partners understand what the business is trying to accomplish.
WHERE THE WORK GETS PRACTICAL
Strategic leadership gets more useful when it understands the details.
A fractional role is not just periodic advice. We get close enough to understand what is happening inside the business, where the friction is, and what may be keeping good opportunities from turning into better results.
What This Can Look Like
Sometimes the opportunity is easier to see from outside the business.
Fractional CRO work rarely starts with a predefined project. It usually starts with something ownership knows could be working better — but has not had the time, perspective, or internal ownership to fully solve.
01
YOU KNOW HOW...
The business is doing a lot, but it is hard to tell what is actually moving growth.
Marketing is active. There are vendors, initiatives, ideas, and plenty competing for ownership’s attention.
Focus
We help separate activity from opportunity, clarify what deserves attention, and get the right pieces of the business working toward the same objective.
02
YOU KNOW HOW...
Some parts of the business perform well, while others never seem to move.
Maybe weekends are strong but midweek is soft. Maybe direct bookings lag. Maybe certain guest segments, offers, or revenue opportunities have never been fully developed.
Demand
We look at what kind of business would actually be most valuable, why it is not happening today, and what needs to change to create more of it.
03
YOU KNOW HOW...
You know there is more potential in the business, but it is difficult to see the next move from inside it.
Sometimes the opportunity is a better offer. Sometimes it is positioning, the guest experience, marketing, an operational change, a new revenue stream, or a completely different priority.
Opportunity
We bring an outside commercial perspective, get into the details, and help ownership determine what is actually worth pursuing next.
The Result
Better decisions about where growth comes from.
Clearer Priorities
Know what deserves attention now — and what can wait.
More Valuable Opportunities
See where demand, revenue, positioning, operations, and guest experience can create more value.
Better Execution
Keep ownership, teams, marketing, technology, and outside partners pointed toward the same objective.
More confidence
Make growth decisions with a clearer understanding of what is actually happening inside the business.
